Movement Against Caste Discrimination in UK

Dear students,
Good Morning.

Being a citizen of India we all are aware that caste is one of the realities of Indian society. In general, it is perceived that caste is a Hindu reality. In past, the caste system has emerged from Hindi Social Systems and Thoughts. But now this is an Indian reality.

Social sciences in general and sociology, in particular, are studying human nature, human relations, human networks and their behaviour in different situations and context. Hence human cannot move just physically rather with their culture, norms, values, beliefs, customs, rituals, prejudices and all human characteristics including institution and its structure and function.

Human Society Not Caste Society Matters

Here I am giving an example that how caste is not just a Hindu or an Indian reality rather a global reality among Indian Diaspora. Wherever they went they went with caste. After polluting Indian society now Indian Diaspora is polluting the host countries all over the world.

Hence concerned countries are forced to make anti-caste law to prevent caste discrimination in their own countries and bring equality not only before law but also in the social domain. For Indian, it may be part of the culture but fro British this is a matter of violation of Human Rights.

Here I am giving you one research paper which is based on Caste and Law in the UK.

Please read it and relate it with Indian realities, laws and public behaviour.

Please pay attention to research methodology too.
